TEAM INSURANCE

YBOA, INC., YBOA State Directors, YBOA District Directors and YBOA Affiliates recommend that all teams purchase Team Insurance so players have the proper accident coverage while competing in any YBOA basketball event.   

YBOA, INC., YBOA State Directors, YBOA District Directors and YBOA Affiliates do not provide or sell Team Insurance, nor provide accident coverage for teams, players, parents, guests or spectators.   Parents policies and a Teams Insurance policy will be the only course of action for insurance claims at any YBOA event.  

Accidents may happen so it is important to review parent's family insurance policies and your Team Insurance coverage before entering an event so all the players are covered properly and your parents understand the necessary steps if an accident happens to their athlete.
